Get your year started right with the SmartyPants Vitamins USMS Fitness Series and the Winter Fitness Challenge, a 30-minute swim that takes place between Feb. 15-28.

The event is perfect for anyone who has set a New Year's resolution to get into better shape. Whether you're just getting into swimming or back into it after a long time away from the pool, swimming for 30 minutes is an excellent fitness goal. The Winter Fitness Challenge can be done in any manner desired: straight through, as a member of a relay, or even with fins.

Find a Winter Fitness Challenge Near You

You’ll have fun training for and completing the Challenge with your club, getting motivation from each other and your coach. If you swim on your own, you can still join a group for the Challenge! The USMS programs listed below will be participating and hosting an official Winter Fitness Challenge at their pool.

If you don't see a program near you, talk to your coach or club contact about hosting a Winter Fitness Challenge at your pool. Bring your club or workout group together for an inclusive and fun challenge!

The Winter Fitness Challenge is our official fundraiser for the USMS Swimming Saves Lives Foundation. Clubs and members have the ability to become fundraisers and show their support for our foundation's efforts. Share your fitness goal with your social networks and fundraise for a great cause.
